IIn January 2022 I was invited to view what a landowners described as an old petroglyph on their property. They were fantastic hosts, and we enjoyed coffee, and blueberry coffeecake they had prepared as I interviewed them. They did not know a lot of details concerning the inscription, but had some interesting lore that locals have attached to it.

I was able to loosely trace its history back to the 1950, but it still could be much older. Based on the style of the inscription, I would say that it could possibly be colonial, and going back to the early 1700s. I am still only at the beginning of doing deep research of the area and the property, so I would take that as just a suggestion at the moment.
